As Ladies Cricket across England and Wales continues to go from strength to strength we see this reflected at club level.

Great Rissington Cricket Club entered our first youth girls competition in 2016 and our first ladies cricket competition in 2019.

2021 will be an exciting year for Ladies Cricket at Great Rissington CC, we are pleased to be hosting a Ladies Softball Cricket Tournament at the beginning of the summer and can't wait to continue to develop this area of the game as more and more ladies are getting involved.

Our female players don't just play for the ladies team as there is a clear pathway to Men's cricket if desired, club player Bethan Crook being the first lady to captain a Men's Senior XI team in the CDCA when she captained Great Rissington 2nd XI in 2019 and became the full-time captain in the 2022 season.

Our ladies team is currently competing in the Cotswold Indoor Sunday League.
